Borderlands 2′s latest DLC will be called Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, and it’s hitting the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October 16th.  It will cost $10, but for those who purchased the season pass for $30, this content will be free.

Looks like more of a robot than a pirate to me.

Unlike the Mechromancer DLC that was released last week, there is no new class in this update, and is merely a story content add-on that will take place in the main campaign.  This is only the first of a promised 4 pieces of downloadable content for the game, so for the people who are way into Borderlands 2, you’ll definitely be playing this one for a while.
