ArenaNet, developers behind the popular MMO franchise Guild Wars, announced today that Guild Wars 2 will be available on Apple’s Mac OS X.  The Mac beta client can be downloaded by anybody who has purchased the game, and the client connects to the same servers as the PC client.  Getting the Mac version is as easy as logging into your Guild Wars account on the official game website and hitting Download Client.

Pretty cool how one copy of the game lets you play both the PC version and the Mac version.

ArenaNet does emphasize that this is still a beta, as there may be some performance hiccups on the Mac version currently.
