People now have no reason to say that Arma developer Bohemia Interactive did not go all out when trying to make their next game, Arma III, as realistic as possible. Two Bohemia Interactive developers have been arrested in a military base located on the Greek island of Lemnos on the accusation of spying. Authorities saw the developers taking photos and videos of the compound, but the two claim that they were just trying to obtain background material for Arma III, which takes in place in Lemnos.
Hopefully, the Greek authorities realize that these are just harmless game developers looking for some information and release them soon. I know a lot of people sometimes complain that developers don’t put enough work and love into their games, but the same cannot be said for Bohemia Interactive. There are people working for that company risking to get arrested at a military compound for the purpose of making their game more authentic. Now that’s dedication.
