The Wii U is a highly anticipated console for the future since it incorporates the use of a tablet controller and will allow innovative ways to game. Rumors have circulated around the web that the Wii U is supposedly going to release in November 18, 2012.
PDP, Performance Designed Products, develops many gaming accessories and while doing a presentation at a GameStop manager’s conference, a representative showcased some upcoming items that would be available “right before the Wii U’s November 18th release date.”
Though there has been no comment regarding the rumor from Nintendo, more information about the Wii U’s release and pricing are to be revealed in September at an even in New York City.
The community manager for PDP, Candace Hinton, stated:
At this time we can’t confirm Nintendo’s dates and we don’t know exactly what was heard, but we simply do not know that this point. We are launching accessories, but the date for the accessories doesn’t mean a confirmation on the hardware. If you seek confirmation on the date that is something that is going to need to go specifically through Nintendo, but we can’t confirm or deny dates on any of their hardware.”
Though the exact date is purely speculation, I’m sure the public and Nintendo fans will more than likely assume the Wii U will be released later this fall! It’s now a matter of time for the actual confirmation from Nintendo, and so we will patiently await the news.
