Review // The Miniwiz ReCase

There is now an iPhone case for the environmentally-conscious.

The Miniwiz Re-Case is made of trash. Literally–it is made of recycled/post-consumer materials.

Look

This case has a very unique design. It is more rounded-off than the natural shape of your iPhone and it has 3 raised asymmetrical “levels” on the back that are almost like elevated steps. This case has a very unique texture to it. It is almost as though someone pressed linen up against wet paint, forming a little grid pattern. It reminds me of the iPhone’s background that you will see when opening a folder. There is a material-like, square fabric looking pattern.

Feel

The first thing people said when I made them hold their re-cased iPhones was “awkward”. This is quickly replaced with “molded for your hand”. The unique shape of the Re-Case is part of the reason most people will fall in love with it; it fits the curves of your hand. Unlike most iPhone cases, this case is not a flat rectangle with straight sides perpendicular to the back and front of your phone to duplicate your iPhone’s shape, it completely changes the shape. It is rounded to fit in your palm perfectly. Even balancing it between both hands to text is more comfortable for your fingers.

Use

This case protects your phone 100% anywhere it covers. My phone has fallen on concrete in this case and there was no damage to my phone since the case broke the fall. The texture of this case can also hide any accidental damage or blemishes. Again, the shape of this case makes it so easy and comfortable to use and hold your phone.

I would recommend this case to anyone not just because it is environmentally-friendly, but because it is one of the best cases I have ever used on my phone.
