With Street Fighter x Tekken near its release, Capcom has been very timely with their character reveals.  However, ScrewAttack came across a leaked list of SFxT’s Downloadable Content and there is something very noticeable in this list that just grinds my gears.

The DLC has its typical listing for Color Packs, Costumes, and Gems, but what really caught the eye was the fact that there is a character DLC that include four characters that we cannot access without buying the DLC (New Challengers: Cody, Guy, Christie, and Leo). With that already being said, why the hell should I paying $7.99 for 4 more characters?

On top of that, Capcom hasn’t even revealed Akuma and Ogre (Maybe we saw a glimpse of them in their teasers), but now you can spend $4.99 for the X Unlocker to obtain Akuma AND Ogre!  The best part about this is that these six characters are already inside the disc on release, you just have to spend more to be able to access them in-game.

I don’t understand what Capcom has been aiming for when it comes to DLC as they have already failed with that plan on Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Check out that rant here.
